Hi All,
It has been yet another busy week on the site - I finally found a decent chocolate option for dieters (HERE), there were more crazy flavoured Kit Kats (HERE) and finally the start of my Hotel Chocolat Valentines Day reviews (HERE).
Coming up this week I have some great reviews including the latest Galaxy chocolate to grace the market and some more Thorntons & Hotel Chocolat Valentines Day reviews ... be sure to check the site each day!
On that note I have a question to pose you all .... what products do you want to see reviewed for the upcoming Easter and Valentines day holidays? Has anything in particular caught your eye from the likes of Hotel Chocolat, Thorntons or Cadbury that you want checked out before you gift to a loved one? Drop me a line and let me know!!
Speaking of Cadbury I recently updated two of my old reviews with new pictures. See theCadbury Caramel and Cadbury Wispa reviews for the new photos. I am aiming to do this across all my old reviews but it will be a slow and gradual process.

I had to laugh at the Nestle - Hersheys news lol now that would be very odd - Nestle taking over Hershey - who have a deal with Cadbury to produce their stuff...that really would confuse people lol
As for easter stuff, anything new or interesting that appears is cool with me lol I havent spotted anything lately but I'm abit limited with shops at the mo since my local supermarket is shut til Sainsburys reopens it in JUNE!
I want you to review some of the new scrambeld eggs from Hotel Chocolat please. Ask them for the ostrich egg whilst your at it. It looks a beast lol.
I would like to see you review the new Cadburys caramel bunnys if you get the chance.
some of the hotel chocolat chocolate boxes for valentines look good. see if you can get one of them.

The ones that made me go WOW:
- The Scrambled Eggs: Boozy/ Dark/ Milk (oh, they all look and sound great)
- Your Eggsellency™ Extra Thick Easter Egg
I think Nestle and Hesrhey would work out quite well, I'd say the standards of their chocolates are pretty much on the same level. I read it was something to do with the fact that in the US Hershey own the the Kitkat brand, and Nestle want it. Which is fair enough I suppose.
Hotel Chocolat Eggs & Soldiers look so cute, would be great to see a review of that if possible! :)
Congrats on being named top chocolate blog, Jim. I do feel they were correct to put you at the tops, however; I was a little surprised to see Cybele placed that low.

Some of GiGi's reviews you mentioned are cool, that MilkyWay Simply caramel is like the Mars caramel you reviewed isn't it? Though I guess they are pretty much the smae product although the caramel in the MW looked chewier! Still seems a slightly odd idea overall to me lol

I think you are right it would be confusion all round as to what would happen with the Cadbury license in the US.
Damn that must be really inconvenient for you with your supermarkets being shut. Oh well at least you will have a nice new JS soon eh!?

The US seems to be a puzzling market in regards to manufacturers owning different licenses! Maybe some more buyouts would sort all the confusion out eh!?

Thanks very much chap. I am not sure I am actually deemed number one by that wesbite but more that I am in the top ten if you get me. If it was ranked I think Cybele would sit on top of the pile quite easily. Her writing style and pictures are far superior to my own.
