Hi All,
Edition 40 already!? It seems like only yesterday I was writing the first one of these!!!
Incase you all missed it I announced the winner of the Galaxy Counters competition a few days back - See HERE. Well done again to Jane - bad luck to all of the entrants, but don't worry there is a MASSIVE competition starting on this site next weekend to celebrate my 1000th review! More details are to follow, but I can reveal now that there are going to be multiple prizes, which are being supplied by none other than Hotel Chocolat.

Oooh if it's HC I'll deffo be entering this competition. I didn't bother with the last one as the thought of the Counters didn't excite me too much lol.
Been away for a few days Jim so still catching up haha :).
I would love to see a HC comp so some of their Summer deserts :D they look awesome.
Also just got a delivery from the USA of candy, is it bad im addicted to Tootsie rolls lol there AMAZING! 3 in 2 days now haha are trans fats that bad :P.

Oo goody, an HC related competion. How I heart them. I think they heart me a bit too. Actually I just went on the site to see if there were any easter bargains to be had, but ended up buying a 'summer sizzler' peepster box instead. Mainly because there's a freaking banoffee slab in there. Banoffee! Those wiley minxes! Suffice to say I flipped out a little.
Hoping this is something you'll be reviewing masterly in the near future :)

Jim says so at the bottom of the post today. It is sneakily hidden in italics. What am I going to do for my chocolate reviews on sundays.
Why don't you like the sound of those new mini rolls Jim? I think they sound pretty nicer personally.
Sainsburys always seems to be the supermarket to get them first so I will keep my eyes peeled.

Indeed I did change my mind about the no review on Sundays thing. The backlog was so big I thought I might aswell just post one. For the time being I will continue to do so (apart from next week ... but you will see why!!)
Answering some of your questions ...
Daisy - I might choose to do a review in the future. I have never been muc of a fan of them though.
Alan - Wasn't it only redeisgned about a year ago?
Phil - The prizes are going to be awesome chap. Be sure to enter.
Matutu - Good to have you back! Tootsie Rolls are unnervingly good aren't they. They are one of those things that look disgusting but taste superb.
Lottie - Don't you worry that Banoffee Slab is very much on the radar! I am getting my summer samples this week :D Woohoo!
Lauren - Personally I think Cadbury focus too much on their Mini Rolls and cakes. I just wish they would release that amount of innovation on their chocolate bar range.

Nah the Turkish Delight wrapper has been the same for donkeys years lol it's been like that as long as I can remember although I susupect it may have been marginally refreshed when they updated the Chocolate Cream wrappers in the 90's.
