December 24th: Seasons Greetings!!!

Delivered Chocolate Gifts at Hotel Chocolat

Hi All,

Could I have found a cheesier, more irritating 'Seasons Greetings' image??? :D

I have finally run out of Christmas products to bring you all so it's about time I shut down the ChocolateMission for the holidays and take some much needed Cadbury Timeout (couldn't resist that one!).

I will be back posting reviews in the New Year, though you may want to keep an eye on the site on boxing day when I will be posting up announcements of all the online/offline chocolate sales.

Until then have a great holiday, whichever it is you celebrate.
Thank you for all your ongoing support.

JIM

P.S. Be sure to let me know what great chocolate gifts you gave and received this year!

The picture shows here...if no one else can see it then can I safely say I actually like it lol? :D

I'm not sure whether gifts means for Christmas or in general but in the interests of space lol I will stick to December's mix of celebrations of Christmas/graduation/ retirement/first football victory after 11 straight losses: received: Holly & Ivy chocolate jams; a gift certificate from somewhere, on its way; gave: After Eights, mistletoe kisses, Tesco chocolate ornaments, snowballs & coins (special nut-free selection, the last also went with a joke); Guylian Trufflina; Guylian Opus; Starbucks rewards card. This is not counting regular chocolate sharing & party contributions/inheritances (Roses, Tesco mint thins, McVitie's Chocolate Hobnobs) etc.

Happy holidays all :)

Happy Christmas and happy new year Jim :)

Well I got: a Terry's choc orange, Ringtons Orange Cremes, some GORGEOUS chocs froma firm in Henley on Thames called Gorvett and Stone. You have to review these Jim, I bought my sister a box for her a birthday and she bought me some Salted Butter Caramels, some Choc Dipped candied Orange Slices and some Berry Delicious (white choc with mixed berries). Highly impressed! Also I was given a box of chocs from a firm in Cumbria called Kennedy's - another delicous collection which would be great to se a review of :)

I also bought her abox of Anthon Berg chocolates which I had never come across before, but they are delicious and a lovely box, very old school and a whopping 36 chocs.

We also had the obligatory Quality Street etc.

I'll put the requests on the requests page :)

PS Also received "Tesco's finest Organic Fairtrade Dominican white chocolate" which was quite good, & shared: Lindt Excellence w/sea salt, Lindor, and gourmet hommemade dark choc w/raspberries (from farmer's market, divine).
@Alan gosh that is a brilliant collection!
