Below you will find reviews of the Aero Caramel, Aero Orange & Aero Bubbly Lamb. All these products are now widely available across the UK, and I would love to hear from you all with your opinions. Please be sure to leave your thoughts ...

The most dedicated ChocolateMission reader might remember that this was a bar I reviewed back in 2008. Since then the bar became a victim of Aero's range cull around 2009, but as with the rest of the flavours that got canned around that time (Orange & Dark), it has made it's return. Before I ate this 2011 version I did take the time to read back my review from 2008 - to cut the long story short for you ... "Overall the Aero aspect of this bar (the airated base) was quite pleasant ... the caramel aspect of this bar was poor".
Frankly I could have cut and pasted the majority of that old review and stuck it here. The milk chocolate was it's steady self, whilst the caramel (what there was of it!) was still poor and lacked the flavour depth of most immediate comparators (Dairy Milk etc). I guess in a way, the lesser portioning of the caramel was a good thing guven it's poor quality, however this lesser portioning wasn't supplemented by any additional chocolate. Yes indeed like the majority of the mass produced products these days, this bar had just been reduced in size since it was last with us (now 38.0g vs the 42.0g bar of previous times). Overall news of this bar being brought back didn't ever excite me, and it unfortunately didn't surpass my low expectations.

Unlike the Aero Caramel above, the Aero Orange was never a bar that made it on the ChocolateMission rating system before being taken out of distribution a few years ago. For this reason I was more looking forward to trying this one than the other two products on show today - my hopes were additionally increased when my mother mentioned it used to be one of her favourite products from her childhood.
This bar is currently being sold in a 100.0g form and can be found (unless you are very unlucky) for £1.00 in most good retailers. The bar came sectioned in sensible sized blocks and I ate around a quarter of it to myself and then shared the rest amongst some of my work colleagues. The milk chocolate, well, ... sugary, milky and average are the words that spring to mind. Of course it was the orange aerated centre that led the mainstay of the taste - unfortunately like the caramel in the bar above it did very little for me. The orange centre melted with the expected delightful mouth feel and supplied a fair orangey fruityness to the initial moments in the mouth. To my disappointment, this initial pleasure was ruined by a strong undercurrent of sugar, which quickly made the taste sickly and impossible to eat in any satisfactory quantity. Fans of sweet chocolate will welcome it's return, but I won't be buying again I'm afraid.

Aero Bubbly LambKcal 145 Fat 8.3g Carbs 15.6g
I will keep this one short as I'm actually a little embarrassed I have an Easter product featuring on the site before January is even through :D The Easter products are being released increasingly early with every year that passes, it is all getting rather silly in my opinion (Boxing day!?? Oh come one!). Anyway, one of the new products from Nestle for 2011 are these Aero Bubbly Lamb, which you will again be able to find in most good retailers throughout the UK.
As you can see from the photos there is really nothing too special about these lambs. They are quite simply Aero milk chocolate, shaped as lamb figurines, with the typical Aero aerated centre (see Aero Orange review above for my thoughts on the chocolate quality). The lamb design will no doubt attract some interest from a younger audience, but for me this was fundamentally just an Aero milk chocolate shaped figure. Pleasant enough, but there are a million other snacks I would reach for first.

It's like buses, you wait for one and then three come around at once lol. I have been awaiting your reviews on all of these for weeks now Jim. It's a little heavy on the old reading but they were good reviews cheers.
The order I'm going to be trying these in is the caramel one first, then the orange and lastly the lamb one if I can be bothered. From what you say the lamb is totally pointless if it's just Aero chocolate remoulded. I wouldn't be surprised if I read that they had a storage fault in the summer and had to do something with a truck load of normal aeros lmao.
Dx
I also managed to buy one of the caramel bars in Sainsburys this weekend. I thought 59p was a bit cheeky for such a small thing but these new things always come out with high price tags.
I don't share your total displeasure of it but I see where you are coming from about the caramel being stupidly low in volume. If you find the cadburys one too sweet people might want to try it.
Jim I see you saw what I thought of the caramel at the weekend, I was so disatisfied by it I gave my last one away to my sister last night. She was grateful I gave it her but she did say it wasn't as good as the Cadburys one.
I will try the other two someday but I wont be going berserk trying to find them in the shops.
Cheers
Al
This was a pleasant surprise to find this morning Jim. Last I heard you hadn't found any of these. Where did you find them mate?
I think the lamb looks nice, why all the hate he is just a chocolate shaped sweetie animal :) You mean old boy.
Your mum is uber cool :-) She is right the Aero Orange did used to rock. I haven't tried this new one yet so I don't know if it is the same. One really hopes so, if it is I'm going to buy where ever I find it out of stock before Nestle get all funny again and stop selling it.
Rxxx
Come on Jim they aren't that bad.
I can't agree with your score for the orange aero. IMO it deserves a load higher than that, especially when I see you rated the peppermint so highly. I think it's unfair you penalise it for being too sweet - can you seriously tell me that mars or cadburys chocolate is any different? I think you miss the point that it is at least giving people something different, you don't see either of those I have said before having an orange bar like this one do you?
Whats up with that site announcement about the awards? That's a delay of a full month mate, get on with it.
Don't forget that it wasn't exactly a million years ago that Nestle brought back the dark aero. So that's an amazing four new Aero products in under 3 months. It makes you wonder what could possibly change so drastically within a company from one month having a range consisting of just two flavours, to then having one with 5 + an exclusive Easter chocolate. Nuts isn't it.
Thanks for the reviews jim its good now that my expectations have been sensibly reduced =] I was really looking forward to reuniting myself with my beloved orange aero but judging by the review they must have changed the recipe if it just tastes all sugary now.
From my memory it always very orangey. Fingers crossed they haven't ruined it.
I know this is insignificant but does anyone else think the wrapper of the Aero Caramel is pretty cool? It looks even better in person imo.
Speaking as a nineteen year old bloke I have to shamefully say I also think the lamb looks pretty sweet. Lol thank god the internet is anonymous.
Jim would you call me a bad mum for buying my kids one of those lamb chocolates each?
I think that is the sort of audience they are aimed at dear. They were an inexpensive fix for two very wound up children who were not enjoying their shopping trip. They worked for me, so they cant be 100% useless.
Grrr how have you managed to get both the caramel and the orange. I still haven't seen any of them in the shops yet.
I love my Aeros aswell - anyone have any pointers on where I might be able to buy them? I'm not really caring about how much they cost. Thats no issue for me at all.
I won't be buying a lamb but I hope to try the other two at some time just to see what they are like for myself.
This is a bit embarrassing to say but I didn't even realise they had stopped making the caramel or the orange bars. The rarely ever saw the caramel anyway. It must have only been gone for a few months at most.
Holy Aeros Batman!!!!!!
Top reviews of these Jim. Lol I didn't realise this was a three bar review until I kept scrolling down.
It's funny they have clumped all the launches together. Do nestle know what day it is? They could have bigged each one up individually over the year. Idiots lol.
Well, well, well this is a new low ----- even for this site. You have outdone yourself today you idiot.
How dare you lie to people saying all three are crap. You are a joke of blogger. I urge you people not to listen to this guy.
As I said it would be brilliant to get all your views on these Aero products. Be sure to share your thoughts.
It would help if I could bloomin find them. I would be more than happy to tell you that you are wrong about the Aero Orange and that it is actually the best chocolate bar in the world.
You will have to wait just a little longer until I inform you of that though. I will be trying to buy all of these this week now :P
That caramel doesn't even look nice. Surprise surprise that it's small than it was before. These companies are so incredulous. Don't you think they are just embarassing when you compare them to the like of Thorntons.
Wispa Gold > Aero Caramel x a million.
The wispa is so much better it's mental. Please bring it back cadburys.
Someone tell us where to buy these. The lambs are everywhere but the other two aren't. Help us out folks
@Midgey44
@Paul Your comment about the lambs made me LOL IRL :)
I don't think you are wrong about the wrapper of the caramel. It does look smart from what I can determine from the pictures I've seen. It's a bloody shame they just didn't make a half decent chocolate to do it justice lol.
Man I can't wait to try these now. I know you haven't rated them high or anything but I still look forward to tasting the orange and caramel ones again.
I might buy a cheeky lamb one or two just to complete the full set lol. Btw I thought the dark aero wasn't that bad when I had it the week. I liked it more than the normal milk chocolate.
No no no! I wish I hadn't seen this now. I had been doing so good not eating chocolate this month :( Boo you Jim seriously. If I see the orange one on the shelves there is not a chance I will be letting it pass me by.
I hold you categorically responsible for any chocolate I consumer this month.
I don't always agree with some of your reviews but I think you are spot on today with you summaries of these three.
Being 100% honest I haven't had one of those stupids lamb ones, but I did manage to get both the caramel and orange bars to try last week.
Caramel: had hardly any caramel in it and left me well hungry. I could eaten about five of them.
Orange: sickly sugary and inedible after a few blocks.
I was well disappointed with both of them.
It was a top football weekend wasn't it Jim boy?
Wins for both pool and Manure, you must have been pleased with the thrashing you gave blackburn.
Looks like you have been busy eating aeros recently lol. I have never liked them myself. Anyone who thinks putting air in chocolate is so stupid. Why would pay a company to replace chocolate space with air? It doesn't make sense.
You couldn't have made your feelings towards Nestle any clearer with this one. What a complete joke to rate all three below 7.
I mean come on. What type of fit minded individual thinks they can get away with such blatant negativity towards one company. I'm giving up with these reviews now. You had potential.
Lol Nestle have gone aero mad I think :P I wont bother with the Lamb, I tried the caramel and thought it was awful but then i expected it to be lol. Especially in comparison to Wispa Gold it really is pretty awful. As for Aero Orange I still havent found it lol and I want to as I always liked Aero Orange but by the sounds of it the last five years (axed in 2006) havent been kind to it!
@ Alex - you finally see the light! bye bye! :D
Thanks for the reviews.
i want try the orange to see if i agree and will probably buy the lamb ones for my little boys (i'm sure they will love them)
Slightly off topic but have Cadbury stopped making Wispa Gold?!?? I haven't seen one in ages but I thought maybe I was just having bad luck. Oh my god please no. :(
This is such an amazing post it has made me so happy. The reviews, the photos, the lamb ....... it's all so fabulous well done.
It's a shame that aero didn't make the chocolates to do it all justice lol. The low scores are bad but they wont stop me buying these all. Thank you so much Jim.
Orange Aero nom nom nom
I wouldn't be too worried about having an Easter product on here in January - I bought my fiancé a Creme Egg before 2010 was over! :D
I found the orange aero in Asda at the weekend.
It's very orange in colour and the taste is ok, but to be honest now it's got no artificial colours or flavours it's just not the same! Bring back artificial flavours!!
I'm not surprised at the ratings these received. However I do think there's a difference between the latest caramel Aero and the one of a few years ago - the new one is much poorer quality in my opinion. The only good thing about them is that the packaging is eye-catching. Sadly Nestle don't seem to care about quality anymore. Sorry for being so negative!
I'll be interested to try the orange Aero, but the problem with large Aero bars is that there's less chocolate and more sugary filling. The best orange Aero I've had was the dark choc "Boci Aero" from last year, sadly I haven't seen them since.
Anyway thanks for reviewing them Jim, it made for an interesting Monday morning read :)
Oh yeah and BRING BACK WISPA GOLD! I can't believe they stopped making it, yet Kraft release pointless products like the Bliss bar (I had one yesterday and wasn't impressed).
@Linz - unfortunately they have.. it was only limited edition re-release like the Wispa was but we all had hopes it would make a permnent return. whether it will or not I don't know but I don't think Nestle would dare try this awful aero version out if the Gold was back for good :)
I never knew this but Cadburys did indeed release a Wispa orange limited edition way back in 1995, with orange bubble rather than a orange fondant. How nice would that have been ! :D
The aero orange hasn't changed at all from what it used to be like, I still think it will be nice to have every now and then.
My only real big problem with it is that it comes in that enormous big bar size instead of the smaller one. Why do they have to make it so awkward, I don't want to cart around a chocolate bar that size in my handbag all the time.
What jolly good reviews. I feel like I have tried these already without even trying them.
As they aren't expensive I will still give them a try anyways. I've just seen on another review that you are a man united fan. I won't be visiting again now ;) Joke
@ Kate - I've found the same with lots of reformulated 'natural' products, they often look really dull compared to the older version and worse still usually taste worse, Smarties being a good example. Theyve never been the same since they went 'natural'!
These all came out very quickly.
I would of thought it would make more sense for them to not release them at the same time. The sales of each of them will just dilute one another I think.
I know myself that I wouldn't buy both at the same time. It will be a case of either/or depending on the mood I'm in at the time. Lol and how much money I have in my pocket.
Hey Jim I see Nestle are bringing out a new 70% cocoa Kitkat to replace the 60% one.
http://www.talkingretail.com/products/product-news/new-and-improved-kit-kat-four-finger-70-dark
Thanks for another top review Jim. Think I'll try the Orange & Caramel Aeros if I can get my mitts on them easily but like some of my fellow Jim Chocolate Missionheads, I wish Cadbury would bring Wispa Golds back cos they're very yummy for my tummy! x
Its a shame to see you didn't think much of any of these Jim. It must suck for you when you have to review one thing you dont like let alone three in one go.
To all the idiots complaining about Jim hating Nestle please don't be so stupid. You are insulting our intelligence.
@Alex don't let the door hit you on the way out.
@Phil Didn't Jim review a 70% cocoa Kit Kat before? I could be wrong.
All the people saying bring back the wispa gold are so right. This aero caramel is just going to remind people of what we are missing.
Top reviews mate thanks so much for getting these all up so quickly.
All this talk about you being anti nestle is so flipping ridiculous. Just enjoy the reviews for what they are people. It's not like the guy is forcing you to read his blog.
They might not have got good reviews from people on here but I still desperately want to try all of these
.... on second thoughts i might do without the lambs lol
@Anon As far I know you can buy all of these in pretty much any supermarket. I think some are just being slower than others to put them out on the shelf.
Ritter Sport News:
On the Ritter Sport Blog readers had been asked to create their own chocolate flavours. Of the suggestions, Ritter has chosen 20 for which you can now vote. Some sound quite interesting, though they did not pick any of the really adventurous suggestions (including peanut butter and liquorice…) for the 20 finalists.
http://www.ritter-sport.de/blog/?p=6526
If you want to vote: click “Wähle Deinen Favoriten”
You can only vote once! So choose wisely. After voting you can return to the website to see which chocolate is leading. (currently cookies and cream is in the lead, how boring is that?! – also it would actually be a WHITE (argh!) chocolate filled with milk cream and biscuit pieces, that sounds way too sweet!)
Click “weiter zur Auswahl”
Top left to bottom right:
Cookies and cream, apricot crisp, orange ginger, raspberry coconut, vanilla-chili, crispy praline, smarties, white coconut crisp, macadamia cranberry, white nut mix, lime, Kiba = cherry and banana, strawberry vanilla, white praline, pineapple chili, pumpkin seed caramel, coconut cranberry, tangerine cheesecake, pecan nut caramel, strawberry mint
So what do you think? Would try all of them, if offered with the exception of the white ones. Voted for pumpkin seed and caramel though (according to the Info, this would be a dark chocolate with roasted pumpkin seeds and caramel :-). Wish they would make the all as their next seasonal flavours…
What a nice post to find on a Monday! Though my hope weren’t very high for these “new” bars I was looking forward to read what you would make of them.
Thanks for linking back to the old review of the caramel one. Interesting comparison of the old and the 2011 versions. I guess this says it all:
the lesser portioning of the caramel was a good thing guven it's poor quality
Nestle really doesn’t seem be great at mastering caramel in their products… I think I will stick to Wispa Gold. Yes, I still have some and despite being well past their BB date, they still taste great! :-)
Like you, I was actually more interested in the orange flavoured Aero. However, before even reading what you have to say, the horrid orange colour of the centre totally turned me off! And your description of the taste, I can just imagine how sickly sweet it is…. Very disappointed. If even you find it too sweet (and from past comparisons I think you have a higher tolerance for sweetness than I do) I certainly will stay well away from this bar! Pity, because even though I generally don’t like Aero anymore, I had been thinking of giving it a try as I do like orange chocolate….
The lamb is the cutest Easter product I have seen this year. But it is still crazy for these things to already be around…. In my local Morrisons they are basically besides the chocolates/biscuits left over from Christmas….
Of the three, the only one I will buy is the lamb. The lucky chap will not be eaten. It is going to end up beside the Thorntons lamb from last Easter to complement my sheep collection. *g*
That photo of the orange is awesome. Nice one Jimbob.
Errrr what the hell have lambs got to do with Easter time? I thought it was all about rabbits?
I was wondering if we'd see one of these Aero products this week (well maybe not the sheep) and to my surprise we get all 3! I've tried the Orange Aero as it used to be my favourite out of the lot but it wasn't as nice as I remember, the sweet orangeness was a tad over-bearing. However, I'll probably buy it now and then. I'd probably rate the plain one top with the mint and orange tied depending on what mood I'm in. Went looking for the caramel bar the other day but could't find it. After reading this, I'll get it if I see it, to try it but won't go out of my way. I have no interest in the Sheep thing and would only buy it if it was the only Aero option and I was desperate for Aero :D Thanks for the review once again.
Well I don't know about anyone else but I went on a full scale hunt for all of these yesterday nd only found the bubbly lambs.
No one had the caramel or the orange in stock yet, talk about being annoying grrrrr.
Has anyone seen that mental smarties hen with the egg inside? Lol it made me laugh when I saw it, it's a cute idea I think, certainly not been done before :)
I hope there are still a few more companies who haven't brought out their Easter ranges yet. If these is all we have then there is nothing to look forward to for months now. Only random things that will pop up during the year.
I don't want to look like I am sucking up to you jim but I think this was one of your best yet. It's an early contender for my readers award 2011 lol.
Speaking of the awards why have you pushed them back to Feb? In all the excitement I only spotted this today.
BRING BACK THE WISPA GOLD.
Nestle aren't ever going to match it with their crappy caramel bars. Cadbury need to do the right thing and bring it back permanently.
I've tried both now and my thoughts on them both were a bit more positive than the reviews here would suggest.
I understand what you say about the orange being too sugary but I think that just depends on your tolerance levels. I like sweet chocolate so I have no problem with that aspect of it.
The caramel was the more disappointing out of the two I would agree with you on that bit. I didn't think the caramel tasted badly, there just wasn't enough of it.
Cheers for the post Jim. I like comparing notes with you.
@Anne It's got to be white coconut crips or the cookies and creme for me. The latter of those two I think will win. What do you think German people will vote for? Whats popular in Germany at the minute?
Sorry for going off topic mate but I had to leave you my midweek football predictions. I got Man U down to lose to Blackpool tonight. I just have a strange feeling about it, the whole season has been difficult to predict. I think Pool will beat Fulham tomorrow though, we are on a big time roll at the minute.
Blackpool 2 Man U 1
It sounds unlikely but it will happen.
p.s. If people are still after the caramel one of these you should be able to buy them in Sainsburys now. We put them out on the shelves yesterday officially. I think some of our stores got them in early which is why some people have been buying them before.
This is all so shameless of Nestle. It's the oldest trick in the marketers handbook. Take something out of the market for a few months, and then bring it back with a shiny sticker saying new. Why are you people refusing to see this?
@ David - yes, I am afraid the cookies and creme will actually win. It is in the lead at the moment. Germany does seem to be obsessed with cookies and stuff at the moment. Also, a lot of people seem to want more white chocolate and this bar would be white... But I think it would be rather boring as there are more interesting options among the 20 proposed flavours...
Phew Its good to hear that I wasn't the only person who thought these were bad.
I don't know what they have done with the orange aero but they have made it a sugary load of disgustingness. Sames goes for the caramel.
If you want my advice I would say AVOID!!!!!!
Lunch today featured two aero caramels for me. Both equally as disappointing as one another.
What did they do with the caramel? Did they forget to put it in or something? Stingey bastards at Nestle I tell you.
This taste test of the caramel Aero by The Grocer made me laugh:
http://www.thegrocer.co.uk/articles.aspx?page=articles&ID=215163
They seem to think there's too much caramel, whereas on here people think there's not enough.
@ Phil - what planet are they on haha to much caramel and they actually thought good?! Did they not taste wispa Gold? The only way i'd say theres too much caramel is in the sense that its horrible so in a way theyre right :P there isnt very much caramel but it wasnt nice anyway.
Hi All,
Thanks so much for all the feedback etc I'm glad the majority of you enjoyed the reviews if not the bars.
I've read through all the comments which only took me the half and hour :D Luckily you guys are answering each other now and not leaving it up to me.
The direct questions ...
Matt - Personally I would rate Mars/Cadbury chocolate superior to most of Nestle's. It's not that it's particularly bad, I just prefer the other two as I think they are more unique.
Anon / Henry - The awards have been delayed because I need more time to complile them. I will still be announcing the winner of the Ritter bars on Saturday.
Linda - You seem a very caring Mum indeed I wouldn't ever insinuate otherwise.
Nigel - Aerated chocolate is a funny thing isn't it. Like you say it is odd to think people are willing to pay for 'added air' :D haha It's all about the texture it creates though isn't it chap.
Alex - What??? You are leaving us all? Surely not! Where will we get our pearls of wisdom from now?
Alan - It's been gone 5 years? Cripes I had no idea it had been gone that long. They always take a while for everywhere to sell out of stock I guess.
Linz - The Wispa Gold has been gone for over 6 months now :D Did you not notice?
Phil - I'm still intrigued by this Boci Aero you speak of all the time. It must have been very nice for you to remember it so vividly. You ever see one again be sure to send one along chap.
Alan - Wispa Orange? I will believe it when I see one chap :D There's a challenge for you! Find a picture of it!
Hawksychief - Welcome to the site :D Sorry but I can't help following United. It's in the blood.
Phil - Good spot on the Kit Kat 70% article chap. I will review it when I find it of course.
Nick - They did indeed used to sell a 70% Kit Kat in Canada but I never reviewed it. I have reviewed the current
Kit Kat Dark UK bar http://www.chocolatemission.net/2008/09/september-5th-kit-kat-dark.html
Kit Kat Dark Bitter (Japan)
http://www.chocolatemission.net/2010/11/november-10th-kit-kat-dark-bitter-japan.html
Anne - Thanks so much for sharing that Ritter Sport news. I will make sure I big you up in the weekend post for alerting me of such a cool thing they are running on their site. For what it's worth I will be voting for coconut cranberry. Why? Well neither are my favourite flavours, but I think they offer the most interesting combination that I haven't seen done before. I would happily settle for a lot of them mind you. Its a shame there is only one winner.
Anonymous - Lambs are linked with the whole 'new life' thing. I did find myself asking this same very question to my folks.
Ria - It looks like our views on the orange couldn't have been similar. Let me know when you find the caramel.
Paul - As much as I would like to think no manufacture would do that, I think you could be on to something here. Perhaps that is the case with the caramel but not the orange bar? The orange was delisted for years rather than months.
Phil - The Grocer obviously thought a lot more of it than us guys did.
Thank you all for all the comments/debate you have been having with one another, I hope you all agree that things are a lot more lively around here now everyone gets the chance to reflect on the reviews rather than moving from one thing to the next each day.
Regarding some anonymous posters saying I have something against Nestle - please you couldn't be further from the truth. I honestly couldn't give a fiddlestick about corporate ethics/morals when it comes to my reviews. When it comes to the chocolate they don't factor in to things.
To sum things up, I was pretty disappointed by all three of these. I would encourage you all to try them when you find them, as you may think differently from myself.
I will have another look over all the comments again tonight to make sure I haven't missed any obvious questions directed at me etc. I do worry that you people think I don't appreciate you leaving your views. I do honestly take the time to read everything.
JIM
.... One last thing. Be sure to check the site out tomorrow if you like your new product reviews :D
Here you are Jim :)

a Wispa orange!!
That link isnt working grr try this:

Alan - 1994 and 28p :D Love it. Those were the days. Great find chap. I should know not to challenge you.
@Anne drat catching up on the backlog I realized I've missed the Ritter vote, it sounds interesting! I would have gone with one of the fruits I've never had in a chocolate - lime/tangerine/apricot. I hope Mr. Zotter is taking notes on the weird ones.
Finally tried the Aero Orange and loved it, even though it's a little too sweet, because the orange is flavored almost exactly like the "Amul Orange" (that I grew up on and miss, I don't even know if they still make it and I think they changed the recipe anyway) www.amul.com/chocolates-ad2.html . So I'm definitely biased thinking this deserves a higher score :)
Just tried an orange flavored chocolate that put this one to shame -- Thorntons orange + cardamom. Not perfect but did a much better job of satisfying my orange chocolate cravings without making my tastebuds drop off.
PS Why Thorntons don't just send CM samples of their whole quality square bar range instead of their inferior offerings, I can't understand. The range is so interesting besides with all the different flavors, colors, source countries and strengths.
I never had the original Aero Caramel, but I just had this version last night. I actually liked the caramel in it, but just found the aerated texture a bit uncomfortable in my mouth.
I've never seen the Aero Orange in shops; I'll have to keep an eye out. The inside looks a bit odd. It looks like the type of honeycomb you would find in a Crunchie. Is it, or is it actually chocolate?
