Hi All,
Again it's been a busy week on ChocolateMission and I can once again only thank you all for all the feedback you have sent my way. If you managed to miss any of the reviews I've posted the links to them below - please continue to add any thoughts or opinions as and when you have them.

* 'Bits n Bobs' Chocolate Cereal, Flapjacks, Cookies & Bars - See HERE

I'm sure most of you are far more interested in hearing who has won the Ritter Sport Noisette bars that I put up for grabs in that review nine days ago - See HERE. After receiving so many responses and sensible suggestions as to why Germans use hazelnuts so often, I decided the only fair way to determine the winners was to use my trusted spreadsheet random number generator to pick my winners.
I can now reveal the lucky winners are ....

Well done to you guys - I will give you a week to get in contact with me via e-mail to claim your prizes. Failure to do so will lead in a Ritter Rollover :D
With that guys I will leave you to the weekend ahead with this weeks Snack of the Week :D Thanks again for your continued contributions to the site.

SNACK OF THE WEEK ..... a new part of '7Days of Chocolate Reviews' which will feature any manner of snacking product I have been products munching on in the week

Galaxy A Gift For YouKcal 198 Fat 11.3g Carbs 21.7g
With a full three months to go before the big day, on the 24th Spetember I bring you ChocolateMission's first Christmas 2011 review :D It's unbelievable to think but the UK supermarkets have been stocking Christmas themed products for a fair few weeks now - it does make you kinda think why they don't just start stocking them all year round doesn't it!? To just showcase how silly this all is I thought it a funny idea to bring you a first Christmas review before I even got stuck in to Halloween this year - quite the comedian aren't I haha!
Well starting things off this year we have these Galaxy 'A Gift For You' chocolates. Billed as 'one half caramel and one half milk chocolate', this 38.0g present shaped chocolate piece cost me £0.65. To save me giving yet another long winded run down of just how amazing Galaxy Caramel chocolates are, let me point you in the direction of this review HERE. Suffice to say the present shaped mould was every bit as suitable as I imagined, and although the proportions of caramel to chocolate were disappointingly more weighted towards the milk chocolate, it was still a lovely little snack oozing with buttery caramel and sweet chocolate class. I'm sure I will be eating a fair few of these this festive year.

Well done you winning people. I can only hope one of these days I will see one of these annoucements and it will be me.
If anything Jim I would say you were late starting your Christmas reviews this year ;) The galaxy parcels have been on sale for ages now. Ive bought them loads of times already.
Congrats to the prize winners. Yet another ritter bar slips through my grasp boooo :(
Top week of reviews as normal J my man. Keep them coming ... especially the Christmassy ones lol ;P
Hi jim. Have you seen that cadburys have brought out the mascot chocolates already for the olympics. Lol if you think the chocolates for christmas have come early then what about these olympics ones eh!? Lol you could say they are one year early, not just the three months.
That ritter comp totally passed me by :S was it run on twitter or something?
Errr so what was the answer to the question then? Don't tell me you just did a random draw of everyone that entered. Epic failure if thats the case man. You should have made a point of picking people that put the serious effort in.
V good variety with the reviews this week J. Highly approving of your work this week :)
Jim im interested in hearing your thoughts about the new chocolate attraction they are opening in York. Have you got any details about it that we might not know?
I dont get what its supposed to be, I just saw it featured on the news the other week talking about how construction had just begun. Do you know anything about it?
Thats a nice way to end the week. I dont like it when we have bad things come up on here. I think its always nicer to hear about good chocolates rather than any that people get cross about.
LOL its never too early to start Christmas reviews Jim. If I remember right you get sent more and more everytime so its better you start early doors anyway so you can get them all in.
Are you doing halloween this year or morally objecting like youve done previous years?
Thats a lovely photo of that Galaxy thing. Im just going to focus on that and not that you have failed to pick me as a winner for the 5th competition running =P
Well done winning people. I hope you appreciate that chocolate because there were a lot of people that really wanted it I think.
I don't think its ever to early to start doing your chrismas reviews btw. The more time/chocolates we get to see before peeps have to seriously start thinking of buying the better.
Are you sure you didn't pick my name out Jim? Can I ask you to consult that spreadsheet of yours again please ;)
Dammit I wish I had just bought one of those Galaxy gift chocs when I saw them the other day.
lol I just felt silly buying it so early on in the year. I guess if everyones going to be doing i could indulge myself next time around. Great picture of it jim.
Jim make sure you review the mint aero christmas tree. Trust its yummyness from beginning to end.
If people are wondering the rrp of galaxy Gift for you is 65p.
In most supermarkets though they are doing it on a £1 for 2 which I think is a good deal.
What happened to SOTW not being about chocolate?
You blantantly should make it a no chocolate post - one a week wont hurt will it?
ohhhhhh i wanted the win so bad. noisette <3 <3 <3
That Galaxy chocolate parcel does look like my kind of thing I have to say.
Would I buy it instead of the bar though? I don't think I would you know. The gift thing is cute looking but the bar has to be a million times easier to eat isn't it.
Xmas review in September!?????
Ahhhhh why the hell not hey lol.
Hey J
Such a good weekend of sport lined up dude. I fully expect Man U and Liverpool wins considering who they are both playing. I will be surprised if there is anything but that put it that way. It was gr8 seeing us winning the cricket again last night, that team just doesn't know how to lose anymore does it!!? Someone tells me that there is this game being played this weekend where they chase a squidged up football and commit handballs all the time :) :) :) lol no doubt someone will chime in on me for saying that.
Well done to the three competition winners btw. I didn't enter cause i was passe to the winning prize.
Cheers
N
Come on folks is it not bloomin obvious that hazelnuts are popular because they are the easiest for them to get hold of from Turkey.
ps. great SOTW by the way. I just so happened to buy a few of them myself from Sainsburys (3 for £1!!!) and also thought they were excellent. I know its stupid buying christmas things this early but lets face it, they just cant help themselves getting them out asap. If they are there we might aswell buy them
So much for standing a better chance winning. I thought my answer was going to do the biz for me its shame you disagreed.
I wasn't expecting to win but I at least thought you would give is the real reason about the hazelnut thing. Im a little annoyed that I spent time looking it up and then you just picked the winners randomly. Why don't you do us another legitimate one to make up for it.
Hey hun. Another lovely three reviews this week. All of them were legitimatelly good to read and the bits and bobs had some especially darling looking piccies. I read yesterday in your comments response that you were feeling strained running the site with your work. I hope thats not an indication you are going to have to stop :( I don't know what I would do without my weekly choccie mission fill.
Rxxx
The people who are moaning need to take a long hard look at themselves ........... guys he ran the competition for free and said in the terms that he can change anything he wanted at any time he wanted. Are you lot just dim or selfish!?
Galaxy caramel ftw. Its so much better than the cadburys caramel jim. I still can't believe you don't pick a winner between those two. Its so incredibly obvious.
Jim just to let you know im off to Jamaica for two weeks now (woooooop woop!!!!!!!)
I wont be around to post obviously but I will make sure I catch up with it all when im back. Have a nice few weeks and well done for having such a brill blog.

Forget Christmas for the minute Jimbo. Get your halloween stuff done first my man. You haven't done anything for that yet.
Well done rachel et al. Let us know if its as good as jim makes it out to be.
Congrats to the winners :) I have to admit I was also looking forward to the original skill-based results, some of the answers were really informed.
I'm going to keep an eye out for this one & give Galaxy another chance after the cookie crumb disappointment. Reading the review I was just thinking funny I hadn't seen any Christmas products yet, just crazily early Halloween ones, when I came to the part about illustrating the craziness by flipping the holiday review order, that made me LOL.
I know I may be biased as I have a soft spot for Galaxy chocolate (I love its creaminess!), but I think this Snack of the Week is simply beautiful! Both the packaging and the actual chocolate :) And that caramel filling looks very nice, though you may be right... a little more of it couldn't hurt.
Too early for Cristmas products? Well, late September has been the time of first appearances for quite a few years, so I don't find it that unusual... Oh, and in late April 2009 (after Easter!), I bought some chocolate cones that were on sale...and they were Christmas themed. :)
Seeing all the Christmas chocolates and deocrations out already in these stores makes you wonder why they pack them all away in the first place. They might aswell just set aside a section in the store for them to merchandise them all year round. lol it would save them so much time and effort
omg people on here will genuinely complain about anything. Even a free to enter competition you guys manage to moan about. Lol sort your lives out fools.
Hmmm I thought the whole idea of the latest competition was supposed to be that it wasn't just a twittery random one and that people who put real thought into their answers were going to be the people that won. Lmao I don't mind too much but im not surprised that others who might have put in a ton of effort are upset.
I got a request Jim. I think its most suitable for your snak of the week and its Lyons Golden Syrup Spnge Cake. I know its not new or anything like that but please can you give it a J Chocolate Mission seeing to.
Its been my favourite type of cake since I can remember so it would be a special one for me especially.
You forgot to say what you will be reviewing next week again. Soz if it sounds like im buggin ya but its just nice to know. I dont like surprises. They worry me :-)
Hi All
Just a quick note tonight.
Well done to the competition winners again and thanks to the two of you who have been in contact already.
In regards to the fairness of the competition - well I thought that so many of the responses were good enough and there wasn't an answer any more complicated needed other than they were the biggest importer of them.
The people that didn't win I wouldn't worry there will be plenty more competitions between now and Christmas. Your best bet is to keep any eye on the Twitter feed.
JOHN - I haven't heard much about it so wont comment just yet.
GOLDEN - My halloween reviews will start shortly.
MARK - SOTW has never been defined as anything ... chocolate or non-chocolate.
CLAIRE - Have a good holiday.
THEA - I thought I would mix the calendar up just a little bit :D
ANA - Thanks for the nice words about the photo.
LIAM - Request noted.
MATT - I still don't know myself to be honest with you chap. I'm just about to sort it all out.
Thanks everyone.
JIM
