Hi All,
It's finally Halloween weekend and you may have noticed that was the theme of the week here on ChocolateMission :D Indeed following on from the Hotel Chocolat Yumpkin (See HERE) SOTW last Saturday, I this week had equally ghoulish themed posts appear on the site:

All of those reviews were met with some really positive feedback so I can only thank you all again for that. Just as a reminder, it is likely that Hotel Chocolat will initiate I stock clearing sale this weekend so I would make sure you check out their website (See HERE) every now and then to make sure you are in and around it all when/if the time comes.
With Halloween now over for me it is all about the two month run up to Christmas! If you guys or girls have any specific requests for products you wish to see reviewed, then I would advise you to get in contact asap so I can strive to fit it in.

Credit for Snack of the Week today has to go to ChocolateMission reader Thea who provided me with a very generous amount of mini pumpkin cheesecake flavoured Kit Kats that a friend of her's had brought back from holiday - Thanks again Thea!!
To the intrigue of my work colleagues I have pulling out these bright yellow coloured, 12.5g Kit Kats during tea breaks at work this week. As one my suspect, the pictures of the smiley faced pumpkins on the wrappers drew many a question - once I told them what they were not many were willing to give one a try, which was frankly their loss :D These Kit Kats might not be everyones cup of tea (NPI), but I found them to be very tasty indeed and highly reminiscent of the custard pudding flavour I once tried (HERE). The creamy outer white chocolate was noted with a mild fruity sweetness that contrasted nicely with the slightly salty wafer and subtle cheesiness of the crème fantastically - the combination was fantastic. As I say with all these things, it would have been nice to have tried this in a larger format such as a Chunky or four-finger, but judged purely on taste these were great.

Ewwwww pumpkin flavour sounds horrible. Theres a reason we don't eat pumpkin and its because its gross.

I see you posted new stories on the news page jimbo! Being a haagan dazs tester would be my dream job. Their Baileys ice cream is just amazin.
One of my friends brought back pumpkin flavoured hersheys kisses last year and they were a lot better than I expected them to be. They tasted mostly of white chocolate if I remember correctly. They weren't such a big deal as we were all expecting. They were just like fruity white choc.
That Kit Kat looks too fake looking for me. Unless its the lighting you have taken the pic in I think it looks a little fake to me.
Why were there so few reviews this week again :( It sucks man. You aren't giving up on the site are you?

I just looked at the fixture list and you boys are playing mega early today arent you? I always think those early fixtures can be well dodge, they never seem to go the way you expect them to. I dont think its even on tv so I have no clue why they would do it that early!? Do you? We have west brom away which I think could be a sticky one for us.

Im not sure why we dont eat pumpkin over here, its delish. On some of the american sites you can find tins of its pumpkin pie filling btw. I would recommend you buy some and find a recipe on the internet for pumpkin pie. You will love it if you eat it hot from the oven with cream.

Brill review to end it all hun. I really enjoyed the halloween posts this week but I really wish you would go back to giving us a review on a Friday. I know you are busy and everything but Friday is the one day at work when its really quiet so the more stuff I have to read on the internet the better :P This is just me being purely selfish I know lol.

I got such a good haul from ToT last night!
A few ppl looked at me funny for going so early but most were much more generous than they were last.
I must have chaught them when their stocks were high lol.

After I saw your review I did get some of the cadbury halloween fingers. Even though you said in your review I was still disappointed with them for just being the same as the normal white choc fingers. I dont see why they made them totally the same :S

Oh it would have been fun if we had got that pumpkin kit kat here. Im not sure I would have liked it but I know I would have certainly given it a try to see what I made of it.
I dont think kit kat even did anything for Halloween at all this year.

I doubt this kk would cause me any trouble but im allergic to pumpkin.
I once ate it as part of a savoury meal and ended up breaking out in a horrible itchy rash. The only thing we could pin it down to was the pumpkin in the sauce because there wasn't anything else in there I hadn't had before.

Sorry jim but I cant give you an opinion on this kit Kat today because I haven't had it.
I sure wish I had though, it sounds so weird it has to be worth with it tasting like custard. I wouldn't of thought the two could ever be comparable.

Normally you probably know me to rant and rave about us not getting all these kit kats but I think even i can live without the pumpkin flavours ones. Its not the most appealing flavour you have ever put on here thats for sure.

It sounds interesting, I've never had pumpkin but my hubby tells me it tastes like butternut squash...

Glad you liked these, unlike the others which were an unknown quantity I sent these because they were addictive! Muahaha :D Nice photography too :) I was impressed by the Japanese Kit Kat branch for their distinct designs.

These sound wonderful. I love the unusual combinations Japanese chocolate has. I just wish that I could get my hands on them!

If any dastardly trick or treaters think they are getting any chocolate or sweets off me then they have another thing coming. Ive never understood people who give out sweets to kids that threaten them. Its hardly the sort of behaviour we want to be encouraging in society.

Im normally up for trying any sort of Kit Kat but that one just doesn't appeal at all. Pumpkin isn't a flavour that gets my juices going.
