Kcal 535 Fat 29.5g Fat(sats) 17.5g Carbs 59.5g (per 100.0g)
Our friends over at Cybercandy recently sent us some samples of the latest Milka limited edition bars gracing the shelves in Germany right now.
In and amongst two rather awesome offerings (more on them next week - oh what a tease haha!) we laid our hands on this bizarrely named Milka Geburtstagstafel bar. This 100.0g limited edition marks Milka's 111th birthday .... yes you read that correctly 111th!?
Essentially this Milka Geburtstagstafel (Birthday) bar is just the Milka Happy Cows (See HERE) with a few decorative changes. Rather than the scatter gun white chocolate splodges, you get a lovely looking white chocolate cow placed in the middle of the bar. Lovely though this all sounds this unfortunately didn't change the fact that for most of the taste panel this was still too on the sweet side, with the majority saying they would rather of just had a bar of the standard hazelnut noted Alpine milk chocolate on it's own.
Overall if we are totally honest we thought this bar was a let down and probably just a bit of a 'cash in' on the part of Milka to try and push yet another limited edition to their legions of fans. As much of a shame as this was, we do get to be an awful lot nicer about the other two bars mentioned previous in the post today - make sure you keep an eye on @Chocmission to see when we publish those reviews.
