They just keep coming and coming and coming don't they! Yes today we are featuring yet another NEW .... ALL ... NEW product from the folk at Cadbury. Hot off the heels of our Cadbury Crunchums (See HERE) and Cadbury Crispello Vanilla Velvet (See HERE) reviews we today bring you our thoughts and musings on these Cadbury Dairy Milk Pebbles. We saw these announced just a week or so ago in the retail papers and it didn't take them long for our samples to be with us at ChocolateMission HQ.

These new Cadbury Dairy Milk Pebbles are the newest edition to the Cadbury 140.0g pouches - an early prediction from the team is that we should see these in smaller 40.0g packs by the end of the year! We shall see on that - its hardly a bold prediction is it haha! The Cadbury Dairy Milk Pebbles came in a lovely looking plastic pouch that carried the Cadbury Dairy Milk branding on the upper portion bag. The main illustration showcased three pastel coloured chocolate pieces on the front and proclaimed there was 'Joy For All' to be had from the contents - could we possibly turn that down!? ... of course we couldn't :-)

Pulling apart the milk carton like opening mechanism at the top of the pouch we were met by a lovely set of Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate scents. With sweet smelling chocolatey aromas aplenty we didn't hang about pouring handfuls of the flat, oval shaped chocolate pieces into our awaiting hands. The colours were accurate from the packaging - purple, yellow and chocolate brown; nothing too exciting but colourful enough to looking appealing.

As you can see from our photography the shells were a nice thickness - less stubby and thick than the likes of Minstrels and Cadbury Creme Eggs and actually thinner. Thin though they were they still had a satisfying crunch and thankfully didn't effect the usual thick viscous melt of the Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate below. Taste wise the candy shells similarly didn't have a major impact as the chocolate generated all the usual yummy creamy, sweet milky cocoa flavours so synonymous with any Dairy Milk chocolate. The nature of the product and format delivery made them epically moreish, thus shared between three of us the contents of the bag soon disappeared.

Overall our thoughts are that whilst these lack any innovative thought power whatsoever, we still on the whole enjoyed them. Given they are likely just part of Cadbury's plans to keep their ranges interesting and fresh with new products we wont complain too much, they have so many other NEW products out there at the moment its hardly as if they have just left these as their only new offering this summer. Cadbury Dairy Milk fans will feel right at home with these and shouldn't shy away from them when you see them on the inevitable £1.00 launch deals in the supermarkets.
