We first reviewed the Lindt Hello My Name Is range bake in November 2012 (See HERE). Back then the range was made up of the Nougat Crunch, Cookies & Cream, Strawberry Cheesecake and lastly Caramel Brownie. The following July we then got another five new variants in a special Summer range - (See HERE), those weren't as well distributed as the original four but they were still available in most of Lindt's specialist stores. Well nearly two years on from the original Hello My Name Is range launch they have now freshened up the original line up with the introduction of this Salted Caramel flavour - we couldn't wait to try it.
We were sent samples of this Salted Caramel variant by Lindt but since writing the review (it's been in the review queue!) we have noticed it on sale in Tesco priced at very reasonable sounding £0.60. Without all the usual 'NEW' branded fan fair this Salted Caramel flavour will likely go unnoticed due to having a wrapper extremely similar to the Caramel Brownie variant. The lack of differentiation is perhaps a shame but there is no denying it doesn't look one classy bar of chocolate.
Overall thumbs up all round to this Lindt Hello My Name Is ... Salted Caramel flavour - the whole team loved it. Whilst not having the nostalgic appeal of the Cadbury Caramel it now has to be up there as one of our favourite widely available chocolate caramel options. It obviously goes without saying that anyone with an interest in that part of the market will want to treat themselves to one of these in the near future. It comes with a glowing @ChocMission recommendation thats for sure.
