Today we continue to stroll through Booja-Booja's new chilled chocolate truffle range by taking a look at one of their fruitier flavours they have have to offer. For those who haven't been following our previous Booja-Booja chilled chocolate truffles reviews you might want to take a look at our previous posts (HERE). Those who have been keeping up to date with the site will be well aware that Booja-Booja recently sent us their whole range of new organic chocolates - these are made specifically to be enjoyed straight from your refrigerator.

As with the other flavours in the range these came in a 69.0g pack containing 8 chocolate inside. We again thought the packaging and presentation was superb. The outer box was immensely premium looking in it's design and this was compounded by a sleek look inner tray that was covered by a nice foil seal. The truffles looked exactly the same to all the other in the range, though when we unsealed the pack we were immediately met with some lovely fruity raspberry scents to enjoy.

One thing that never fails to impress us with these Booja-Booja truffles is their outer dusting of cocoa powder. It's may sound like such a simple touch, but trust us it really makes a difference to the mouth feel of the truffles melting and adds a whole new dimension. The taste is what you will be more interested in however and rightly so. Thankfully there are nothing but good things to report. The raw cocoa taste of the bitter dark chocolate was nicely balanced by the sweetness of the very genuine tasting raspberry fruit inside. The team thought the fruityness could have been stronger but it wasn't as if it failed to overcome the strong dark chocolate.

Overall if raspberry dark chocolates are your thing you will definitely be wanting to be taking a look at these Booja-Booja Raspberry Chocolate Truffles. Everything from the touch of class you get from the presentation, to the sophisticated taste of the Ecudorian dark chocolate is very well done. Whether you are considering these for your own personal enjoyment or whether you are eyeing them up for a gift for another chocolate fan, these are a good option to consider from Booja-Booja. Let us know what you think of them @ChocMission.
