Here @ChocMission you guys know we aren't the biggest fans of Halloween but like every annual holiday season we do concede there is always a silver lining. The silver lining today comes in the form of these Cadbury Screme Egg Biscuits. These limited edition biscuits may sound a little hokey given they are only the usual Cadbury Creme Egg Biscuits just with the 'goo' coloured green however, the team couldn't were all pleased to get the chance to be able to try them - we even had to buy three packs so we had enough to go around.

You should all be able to find these in any of your local supermarkets throughout the duration of October (and probably a few months after being sold off on the cheap!). Like any new limited edition biscuits paying over £1.00 is a travesty - if you do you are either shopping in the likes of Waitrose or just happen to be very unlucky not finding them on some form of deal. Whatever, you should be able to spot them easily enough on the shelves with the usual red, blue and yellow Creme Egg branding replaced by a Halloween themed dark purple and bright green foil wrapping.

As big fans of the original Cadbury Creme Egg Biscuits, we expected nothing other than the experience we had from these. They were fantastic to eat in pairs and satisfying enough to settle a sweet tooth hankering. The biscuits are described as 'biscuits with a white and green fondant filling covered in Cadbury Chocolate' and look no different from their standard counterparts. The milk chocolate on the outside is instantly recognisable as Cadbury with its super sweet milky taste and the fondant and biscuit provide a nice contrast in flavours swinging from sugary sweetness to malty salty biscuit. They are moreish yet satisfying as we said above.

Overall you could have guessed we were going to give these Cadbury Screme Egg Biscuits a thumbs up from our previous positive review of the originals so our score here should surprise no one. We love chocolate biscuits here @ChocMission (doesn't everyone!) so we do have high standards when it comes to one of our favourite snacks. Cadbury Creme Egg Biscuits are a pretty frequent [urchase of ours anyway, so switching our buying to these Cadbury Screme Egg Biscuits is really no big deal. Some might find the green filling a little off-putting but to be honest, a whole load more kiddies will probably find it a little fun. Give these a try if you never have before.
