It was damn annoying that three of them were only portioned once .. it not only meant I had to photo and eat the same chocolate but they just so happened to be some of the best flavours aswell.

You liked the gianduja cubes then huh!? They are a thing of the gods aren't they. They are a little on the expensive side but they are totally worth it for the 300.0g of gainduja gold you get.

I don't think I am ever going to be able to try one of HC's banana chocolates if she continues to clock them. They are her favourites by a long way.

They do indeed. I guess it is in their interests as it probably increases the likelyhood of them getting good scores. Hey I'm not going to dispute matters with them ... they can send me what they want.

Out of all of them the orange pralines interested me the least so I fobbed off the parents with those ones whilst I did indeed hoard the coffee pralines :D

Hm I may have to woo myself with these this valentines. I could try subtle hints (*hits bf over head with large stick*) but that usually has undesirable consequences (such as the time I got a double decker for valentines).

These all look delicious although as you say I think they should distribute them evenly as in either one of each or two of each lol. My sister was a member of the Tasting Club a couple of years ago, some of the new creations are cool but some are totally bizarre - I think the white chocolate chilli puddles (or whatever it was) scored 0 lol its a good idea though.

Sounds like the Hotel Choccers have struck again - they really have such consistently high standards, it's sometimes hard to resist spending all my spare pennies on their goodies. When I first joined their Chocolate Tasting Club, about 8 years ago, I found myself scoring nearly everything in the box as "10", until I re-calibrated my scoring to take account of their high standard - so "7" was "really good", "9" was "mind-blowing", and "10" was just me dribbling drool all over the keyboard! Mind you, you can't really do that, since you review loads of other stuff, too. It's a nice problem to have, though!
