As I said in the review - I don't dislike Ginger Ale ... I am just not its greatest fan either. I am a Pepsi Max guy myself :D

I think it was a limited edition afraid. Check out J-List for all the latest flavours though.

Thanks Rod I value your opinion. The aftertaste was a sore point for me with this bar. I just wished it was a white chocolate Kit Kat by the time I finished it. Glad you enjoyed my review - swing by more often :D

They are slightly eccentric I have to admit. I think they are just braver with their flavours and food than we are.

I really like the idea of a gingerbread flavoured Kit Kat! I imagine it would be an awful lot like that Ritter Sport Speklautius bar I reviewed just before Christmas! Now that was tasty.

Liking ginger ale was certainly going to help here. In defence I think at least it can be said that they captured the ginger ale flavour well. It just isn't to everyones taste I guess.

The lemon content came through quite strongly but I personally felt the ginger ale flavours came though reasonably strongly.

I ate this kit Kat a few months ago and actually thought it was pretty tasty.

I thought it tasted more of lemonade than it did Ginger Ale. Some of the time I think people are more put off by the name of the product rather than what they actually taste.

I also hate ginger ale (although I like ginger) so this would never ever tempt me - having said that I think the flavour would have been better if it had been more of a gingerbread type flavour, more naturally gingery and spicy rather than an artificial attempt at the actual drink flavour, perhaps with dark chocolate and not white? lol as it stands it sounds horrible.

That is pretty good when you consider the package would have come from the other side of the planet. I think it just goes to prove that he wouldn't advise we use anyone that is iffy.

I've been waiting for this review, and I completely agree with everything you've said. I also noticed a pretty foul aftertaste that lasted quite a few minutes after finishing the bar.

I tried them for the novelty alone. It was given to me as a gift and I was actually a bit dissapointed to recieve it (no, I didn't reveal that), there are just so many other interesting flavors that I would rather try.

Just reading the title of this review made me cringe. I detest ginger ale and everything associated with it.

One of my friends swears blind that ginger ale and vodka is the best drink ever but I frankly beg to differ. I can't think of many things that I would rather not be used as an added flavour.

How can you not like ginger ale jim? It isn't my favourite fizzy drink ever (7UP girl here) but I imagine it would be very interesting flavouring a chocolate. I can see it being quite sweet but also a little spiced. I would give a try anyway.
