You are quite right all the soy flavoured Kit Kats do seem to come off more nutty than anything else. Why don't you head to J List if you want to try them yourself.

The picture does make it look rather odd huh!? It could perhaps just be the way I have taken the photo but that was my initial reaction when I first saw it.

From the reading up it does indeed sound like it is a relatively popular snack like mochi. They obviously could have done a better job with the packaging.

From what I gather JList will be sending out a new batch of goodies right now. Expect to see them start appearing mid Feb! Gingers crossed they stuck that coffee one in there.

To be honest I won't put anything past Nestle making any flavour in Japan. Seemingly the wackier the better when it comes to their range.

Indeed well said - they aren't exactly reserved when it comes to the flavours they produce.

I think they have them back in stock now! Probably best checking their site again as I think they just got a load of their Kit Kats restocked.

As I said chap there are more Kit Kats inbound so I am hoping some of those flavours are included.

I bet they are used to Kit Kats being made in all sorts of weird and wonderful flavours. They seem to make at least four or five news ones every couple of months.

Kinako Ohagi is actually nothing like a 'meat flavoured dumpling' and it is a traditional Japanese snack. Admittedly the photo on the wrapper doesn't do it any favours.

If you read back through your reviews of Kit Kats from Japan you often say that a lot of their weirder sounding flavours taste nutty.

You always seem to say it when the word soy is involved somewhere. I wish I could try them for myself :(
